【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60825recommendssafetymeasurestoprotectagainsteffectscausedexclusivelybythermal,opto-mechanicalandrelatedeffectsinpassiveopticalcomponentsandopticalcablesusedinhighopticalpowerfibrecommunicationsystems.Thistechnicalreportdoesnotapplytotheuseofhighpoweropticalsystemsinexplosiveatmospheresortheuseofopticalfibresinmaterialprocessingmachines.ThroughoutthispartofIEC60825,areferenceto‘laser’istakentoincludelight-emittingdiodes(LEDs)andopticalamplifiers.
